In Burlington, Vermont today we interviewed Wendy Coe – community organizer of the Vermont Yankee Decommissioning Alliance, the Burlington Safe Energy Coalition and a key architect of the early 1980s drive that saw a majority of Vermont towns and cities to support a freeze on nuclear weapons at town meetings across the state. Wendy also donated two gigantic scrapbooks of press clippings, leaflets and other valuable materials to the project archives.
